Kaiko is the ultimate summer pattern—adaptable, stylish, and ready for every occasion from the beach to a festive party. It can also be worn with a T-shirt underneath on colder days.

This pattern offers the flexibility to create multiple garments from a single pattern. Here’s an overview of the different variants your customers can make with Kaiko—from casual tops to elegant dresses, perfect for any occasion.

This pattern has a difficulty level of 3 dots.
With this pattern, you’ll learn how to sew gathers, make a lined (double) bodice, sew a back closure with buttons, and construct shoulder straps.
The button closure at the back makes this pattern rated at 3 dots, as it’s a bit more challenging.

Fit

The best part about this pattern: there are different pattern pieces for different cup sizes. The front bodice is available in cup sizes A through G. Check your high bust and full bust measurements to determine which cup size you fall into.
The narrow shoulder straps can be made from ribbon and adjusted to the desired length. In addition, there are pattern pieces for wide shoulder straps, shaped to drape beautifully over the shoulder.
The skirt is generously cut and can be made with either a single or double layer, depending on your preference.

Fabric choice
