These extraordinary designer jacket patterns are a collaboration between Belgian designer Jordy Arthur and sewing pattern brand Notches. As a tester, you’ll help us fine-tune the fit for every size and make sure our instructions are crystal clear.

Applications close at midnight (CEST). We’ll review submissions and email you if you’re selected. Don’t forget to check your spam folder.
➖ Friday August 22 ➖
Selected testers will get access to a private Facebook group, where you can download the PDF pattern and e-book for free and start sewing.
➖ Sunday September 7 ➖
Deadline to fill in the spreadsheet with your fitting feedback and any corrections.
➖ Wednesday September 10 ➖
Deadline to send in your final photos.

JORDY JACKET
➖ Learn to create Jordy’s signature spikes to add to your jacket or any garment.
➖ Raglan sleeves with unique design lines and a cuff with sleeve placket.
➖ Optional collar.

➖ Two hem lengths.
➖ Optional in-seam side pockets and in-seam chest pockets (with different finish options).
➖ Finish with bold topstitching or keep it minimal.

MEET THE DESIGNER
Jordy Arthur Vaesen is a fashion designer and content creator based in Belgium.
He explores his creativity by using fashion design and content creation as his main source of self-expression. "I believe creativity is an ever-growing thing. I don't like to limit or define myself. I don't do boxes!
Breaking with "outdated norms", he hopes to inspire people to embrace their own uniqueness, but also the uniqueness of others. "There is so much we can learn from each other if we would open our minds and listen."
Jordy Arthur's work has been used by many stylists all around the world and worn by artists and performers in all fields. He has been featured in numerous online and printed publications.
Using his unique perspective and creative skills Jordy Arthur collaborates with businesses worldwide. Through his social media platforms he creates inspiring content for big clients, always bringing it back to his love for fashion.
When it comes to sustainability Jordy believes that it should not be a marketing tool. It should be the bottom line for all entrepreneurs. "I am constantly trying to find the balance between making conscious decisions and business decisions. It's not always an easy balance, but through transparent and open communication with my community I believe we can find the way."
