The Jordy jacket is the result of our collaboration with Belgian fashion designer Jordy Arthur, bringing his signature style to your sewing table. 

This unlined jacket stands out with a raglan yoke that flows into an eye-catching incrustated corner, plus a second seam shaping the shoulder—the perfect spot to attach removable spikes if you want to go full statement.

Jordy offers a world of possibilities: cropped or longer length, collar or collarless neckline, cuffed sleeves with placket, and practical in-seam pockets hidden along the front yoke seam. Topstitching can be subtle or bold, depending on your fabric choice and mood.

Whether you go for classic denim, textured corduroy, or even airy linen for summer, Jordy adapts seamlessly to your style.

This design is also available in women’s sizes under the name ‘JENNA jacket’.

Fabric choice

Level

We rated Jordy at 3 out of 4 dots on our difficulty scale. This is because the pattern combines several advanced techniques: constructing the incrustated raglan yoke, sewing a collar, adding a sleeve placket and cuff, inserting in-seam pockets, and, of course, working with the optional spikes. None of these steps are impossible on their own, but bringing them all together in one project makes Jordy a rewarding challenge for sewists with some experience under their belt.
Luckily there's a video tutorial available that guides you through all the steps.

Jordy has a structured yet relaxed fit, designed for layering. The unlined finish makes it versatile for mid-season wear, while the choice of hem lengths and neckline options allows you to tailor the look to your personal style.

Fabric requirements 

The fabric lengths charts show how much fabric you will need for all variations, calculated on a standard fabric width of 140 cm - 1.55 yd. If your fabric is narrower, you will need more fabric length. For broader or narrower fabrics you can calculate how much fabric you will need by laying out the pattern pieces on the table according to your fabric width and measuring how much fabric length you will need accordingly.
